Medieval Vampire Skull Unearthed in Venice
Scientists recently discovered what appears to be the fossils of a woman from the 16th century who was classified as a vampire. A stone was found in the skeletons mouth, which leads scientists to believe that it was placed there to keep her from biting other people and spreading the plague, which many at the time believed was spread by vampires.
